THH Terms & Conditions

By scheduling a session with The Homegirl Healer, you acknowledge that The Homegirl Healer and its owner(s), employees, contractors or authorized representatives are not medical professionals and the products and services offered by The Homegirl Healer, including but not limited to, Reiki, Integrated Energy Therapy, Yoga, Meditation, Crystal/Gemstone therapy, Vaginal Steaming, Intuitive Coaching, Aromatherapy, Oracle and Tarot card readings, do not replace medical care from a medical professional. The products and services offered by The Homegirl Healer do not replace psychiatric care. The products and services offered by The Homegirl Healer cannot diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent an illness. The Homegirl Healer is not liable for any decisions made by you the client following a session concerning your health and/or your life in general. Everything discussed during the session is to be kept completely confidential by both parties. If you are taught anything during the session, the information is not to be repeated or replicated as your own.

Privacy Notice: No information about any client will be discussed or shared with any third party without written consent of the client or parent/guardian if the client is under 18.

Policies for First Time Clients: First time clients must complete the Client Intake Form. Completion of the intake form is required before the first session can be conducted. The client’s scheduled session time will not be extended due to them needing to complete the form upon arrival for the appointment.

Payment Policy for Reiki classes: Reiki class fees must be paid in full at least 7 days prior to the class date. Any class registrations with an unpaid balance after the due date will be canceled immediately. No refunds will be given as per our refund policy.

Payment Terms: The Homegirl Healer accepts the following methods of payment: Credit and Debit Cards, Zelle, and Cash. Payment in full is due at the time of service. Appointments are only considered confirmed if a deposit is received at time of booking.

Refund Policy: All services appointments, classes, events and workshops hosted by The Homegirl Healer are non-refundable.

Payment Plans: The Homegirl Healer offers payment plan options for certain classes, events and services. Please note THH’s no refund policy, which also applies to classes events and services. By registering for a payment plan, you agree to honor the terms of the agreement and to ensure your plan is paid in full at least 7 business days prior to the start of class in order to retain your spot.  If your payment plan is not set up within 48 hour of registering for your class, your registration will be canceled. You acknowledge that the credit card(s) or payment method(s) you are using to make this purchase will be active, valid and have sufficient funds available during the entire term of the payback period. If for any reason your payment is declined, you will provide an alternative, valid payment method. You understand that you may be assessed a late fee(s) if a payment is missed on any of the agreed-upon payment dates for any reason whatsoever. You understand that you are legally bound to these terms and required by law to make all payments on the agreed-upon payment dates. The Homegirl Healer reserves the right to report delinquent payments to credit agencies and collections agencies.

Late Arrival/No Show/Cancellation Policies:

Late Arrivals: Appointments and classes will not extend past the originally scheduled end time and there will be no refund for any portion of time missed.

No Shows: A client/student is considered a no-show if 20 minutes has elapsed since the start of their appointment/class and they have not arrived at /logged into the appointment location. No shows will not be refunded and will forfeit any monies paid to The Homegirl Healer for the session. No-shows who paid a deposit to secure their appointment will be charged for the balance due immediately via the payment method on file used to secure the appointment.

Cancellation: Bookings for services provided by The Homegirl Healer are non-refundable. Cancelled or missed appointments will not be refunded. Clients are encouraged to reschedule rather than cancel or miss appointments. Clients have up to 48 hours prior to their session start time to reschedule their appointment. Please note: After TWO (2) consecutive reschedules, the client’s appointment will be marked as cancelled, and the client forfeits any monies that have been paid to The Homegirl Healer. If the client wishes to schedule another appointment, he or she will not be credited for any monies paid to secure the rescheduled appointment(s).

CLASSES, WORKSHOPS & EVENTS: Classes, workshops and events are non-refundable, with the exception of classes, workshops and events cancelled or rescheduled at the behest of The Homegirl Healer. In the case of cancellation or rescheduling by the THH, attendees will have the option of receiving a refund, or a coupon code and priority registration for the rescheduled date. This exception does not apply to cancellations due to non-payment.

The Homegirl Healer Liability Policy:

By booking a session with The Homegirl Healer, you the client are agreeing to the following terms and conditions of purchasing services from The Homegirl Healer: I understand that Reiki and Integrated Energy Therapy are simple, gentle, hands-on energy techniques that are used for stress reduction and relaxation.  I understand that Intuitive Coaching sessions, Meditation and THH classes and events are for entertainment purposes only, and does not constitute a psychic reading, nor does the session imply or guarantee that anything discussed during the session is a prediction of future events that may or may not occur during the client's lifetime. I understand that The Homegirl Healer, its owner(s), employees, independent contractors, affiliates and/or authorized representatives are not medical professionals and cannot diagnose conditions nor prescribe or perform medical treatment, prescribe substances, nor interfere with the treatment of a licensed medical professional. I understand that the products or services provided to me by The Homegirl Healer do not take the place of medical care. I understand that it is recommended that I see a licensed physician or licensed healthcare professional for any physical or psychological ailment I may have. I understand that the products and services provided by The Homegirl Healer can complement, but cannot replace any medical or psychological care I may need and/or be receiving. I acknowledge that it is not possible to estimate the number of sessions I will need to resolve the issue(s) which necessitate my decision to utilize the services of The Homegirl Healer. I further acknowledge that it is not possible to guarantee any specific outcomes for any sessions I receive from The Homegirl Healer.

I acknowledge the following recommendations for all clients of The Homegirl Healer receiving vaginal steaming (otherwise know as yoni steaming, womb steaming, v-steaming) services. The use of drugs, medication or alcohol prior to or during the vaginal steaming session may lead to dizziness or unconsciousness. Please consult your physician if you are in doubt of your ability to use The Homegirl Healer’s vaginal steaming services for health reasons. Please discontinue the vaginal steaming session if you feel light-headed, dizzy or heat exhausted. The Homegirl Healer vaginal steaming sessions should be limited to a maximum of 60 minutes. It is advisable to drink plenty of water before and after session. It is advised not to eat at least one to two hours prior to your vaginal steaming session to avoid any ill feelings. Clients using any medications must consult a physician or pharmacist prior to receiving vaginal steaming services. Pregnant women are advised not to receive vaginal steaming services. The Homegirl Healer will refuse to provide vaginal steaming services to any clients who have indicated that they are currently pregnant. Excessive body temperatures have a potential for causing fetal damage during the early days of pregnancy. Do not use any chemicals or lotions prior to your vaginal steaming session. These items may block pores and affect perspiration as well as potentially stain the surfaces you come in contact with during the session.

I voluntarily assume the risk of injury, accident or death, which may arise from the use of The Homegirl Healer. I and any of my heirs, executors, representatives or assigns hereby release from all claims or liabilities for personal injury or property damages of any kind sustained as a result of receiving services from The Homegirl Healer and from any advice provided by an owner, employee, independent contractor, affiliates and/or any authorized representative. I agree that this intake form and Waiver is in effect for all The Homegirl Healer sessions I receive and will not expire unless requested by either party.
